Journal of Government and Economics accepted into Elsevier's Scopus as indexed journal

This month, the Journal of Government and Economics (JGE), an academic journal edited and published by the Society for the Analysis of Government and Economics (SAGE), was officially accepted as an indexed journal in Elsevier's Scopus database. Launched by Elsevier in November 2004, the comprehensive and wide-ranging database covers a vast range of disciplines, including natural sciences, technology, engineering, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities, among many other subject fields, and has become the industry's leading abstract and citation database.

JGE publishes high-quality and original research papers in the field of Government and Economics, aiming to contribute a space for the broad discussion of the relationship between government and the market economy, in addition to providing a platform for the continued development of Government and Economics as an emerging subject of study. The Journal moreover provides a means for readers to gain a better understanding of the government's role, incentives, and behavior in the market economy.

JGE is an international academic journal and the official publication of SAGE, with its quarterly issue offered in an open access and rapid peer-reviewed publishing format. The Journal's current editors-in-chief are Dr. David Daokui Li, Professor of Economics and Director of the Academic Center for Chinese Economic Practice and Thinking (ACCEPT) at Tsinghua University, and Dr. Eric S. Maskin, Professor of Economics and Mathematics at Harvard University and 2007 Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences.
